Heritage Christian athletes sign letters of intent

(ROCKWALL, TX – Feb. 1, 2017) Today Heritage Christian Academy celebrated student-athletes Reagan Oliver and Conally Webb, as they each signed letters of intent to participate in athletics at the college level next year.

 

HCA Senior Reagan Oliver has committed to participate in the sport of Golf at Union University in Jackson, Tennessee. The Union Bulldogs are a member of the NCAA competing at the Division II level with the Gulf South Conference. He has been awarded $36,000 in scholarship monies to attend Union University.

While at HCA, Reagan has led his time to District, Regional and State Competitions and has finished in the top 10 most of those tournaments, including his fifth place finish in the TAPPS 3A State Golf Tournament last spring. Reagan is also seen during the summer months participating in both Dallas Junior and Texas Junior Tournaments.

Reagan was joined this morning on stage by his Mother and Father, Christy and Mike Oliver, HCA Golf Coach Mr. Ed Sherrill, and his swing coach Mr. Lance Patterson of the Dallas Athletic Club.

Conally Webb has elected to take her talents on the softball diamond to Southern Nazarene University located in Bethany, Oklahoma. The Crimson Storm are members of the NCAA competing at the Division II level in the Great American Conference. She has been awarded $36,000 in scholarship monies to attend, and once on campus Conally will join 2015 HCA Alumna, Madeline Schroepfer, in the Crimson Storm Athletic family (basketball).

While at HCA Conally has been a dominate pitcher leading her team to three long playoff runs. She has been selected to 3 All-District Teams, been named District MVP twice, and has twice been selected to the TAPPS All-State Team. During the summers Connally competes for Texas Riot Softball Club traveling the Texas countryside honing her craft and playing in front of college scouts.

Conally was joined on stage this morning by her Mother and Father, Debra and Kirby Webb, her select team coach Mr. Manny Segovia of Texas Riot Softball, and her grandparents Don and Anne Delp.
