Rockwall County Republican Women will present scholarships to five young ladies from Rockwall High School and Rockwall-Heath High School at Membership Meeting Monday night, May 14, Harry Myers Community Center. Buffet dinner of sandwiches, salads, and desserts will be served at 6:30 P.M., and program will follow at 7:00 P.M. The Fifth Annual Pancakes for the Park & Christmas Bazaar benefiting the Samantha Knostman Memorial Fund’s annual scholarships for Rockwall and Rockwall-Heath seniors is hosted by more than ten RHHS clubs and organizations. Over 20 local vendors will be participating in the bazaar. A community holiday tradition continues Friday, Dec. 1 when the Rockwall-Heath High School Senior Class of 2018 presents the Annual Heath Holiday Home Tour.
Five beautiful homes ranging from an equestrian property to an upscale estate will be drenched in holiday décor and open for touring from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The homes will also feature live entertainment and chance drawings for prizes.
Tickets for the Heath Holiday Home Tour are $20 in advance and $25 at the door of each home. Ticket sale locations beginning November 13 also include Rockwall-Heath High School (front desk) and Regal Realtors at 3125 Ridge Rd. All tour proceeds benefit the Senior Class of 2018’s after prom party at Shenanigans in Rockwall. The party provides a safe and fun environment for the students to continue their celebration with food, activities and lots of great prizes from 1 a.m. to 5 a.m.
Dress in your western best and join Rockwall-Heath High School for its annual Hoe-Down event benefiting the RHHS senior class of 2017 on Saturday, April 16, from 6:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. at Summerfield at Tate Farms (13502 FM 548). Class of 2017 parents will host this fun event featuring live/silent auctions, dinner catered by Eddie Deen’s, live music by the Silverhorse Band and photos by Photo Wagon. Games and activities will include Horseshoes, Cornhole Toss and dancing! Folks will also have a chance to win a fabulous raffle item prize: an “Audrey Le” stainless steel watch with a mother-of-pearl dial donated by Willis Fine Jewelry. All proceeds benefit the Class of 2017 senior events, including prom and after-prom.
Rockwall-Heath High School will be presenting the musical Cinderella at their Performing Arts Center on 801 Laurence Drive in Heath on January 14th-16th at 7:30pm. Tickets are $15 adults, $10 students, senior citizens & children. For each adult ticket purchased, one child will be admitted for free. Tickets can be purchased 30 minutes before showtime.
Photos may be taken with Cinderella and the prince at the show’s completion.
This is a FREE event. There will be a kids’ area provided by Education, Travel and Culture! It will feature international themed coloring sheets, paper crafts, table games and more! Perfect for kids aged 4+. The cafeteria is mostly stroller friendly. All kids welcome if you wish to bring them. Kids MUST be accompanied by an adult at all times.
