Royse City Chamber hosts informative luncheon

(ROCKWALL, TX – September 16, 2015) The Royse City Chamber of Commerce luncheon held Sept 15 at Shenaniganz proved both inspirational and educational. Assistant Superintendent Kenny Kaye Hudson spoke about the new NEPRIS program they have implemented in the district which will benefit students of all ages as well as the businesses and individuals who support it.

Jon Bailey, President and CEO of Rockwall County Helping Hands, gave an excellent presentation on the many services that the critical assistance agency provides to the community. He also shared information about their new Capital Campaign which in three phases will increase the size of the food pantry and reception area, will allow more space for offices,  expansion of the Thrift Store and its sales floor, and the expansion of the Health Center. Bailey said that if  1000 residents donated $20 they could reach their goal of $240,000 and never have to turn anyone away who is seeking financial help.

A Chamber plaque was also presented to new member Cindy Vest Photography.  She can be found on Facebook.
