Rowlett Holiday Parade – 12th Day of Christmas

Don’t miss the 2018 12th Day of Christmas Parade in Downtown Rowlett on Saturday, Dec. 8! The parade will begin at 6 p.m. at Herfurth Park and wind through the streets of beautiful Downtown Rowlett. Lots of holiday activities will start prior to the parade at 5 p.m. Be sure to stick around after the parade for the announcement of the parade winners as well as pictures with Santa!

Rockwall Hometown Christmas

Rockwall’s Hometown Christmas celebration will be 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. in historic downtown Rockwall. The day begins at 9 a.m. with the Kiwanis Christmas parade, followed by holiday festivities in the square. Tree lighting ceremony on the lawn of City Hall from 6 to 8 p.m., craft making in Santa’s workshop, free cookies, and Santa.

Heath Holiday in the Park

The City of Heath Special Events Board presents a hometown holiday celebration 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Towne Center Park with food, fun, and Santa. Enjoy food trucks, complimentary Christmas cookies and hot cocoa. The event includes a Christmas tree lighting featuring a countdown with the crowd as the City “flips the switch” on its beautiful Christmas tree at 6:30 p.m. The program will also feature musical performances by the Amy Parks, Dorothy Pullen and Linda Lyon Elementary School Honor Choirs, plus the Cain Middle School Band and Orchestra.

Christmas in July – Visit with Santa

The Little Gym of Rockwall is celebrating the warmth of the season with a Christmas in July event, 3:30 to 5 p.m. this Saturday, July 21.  Everyone is welcome – bring friends and family for lots of fun!

They’ll offer savings on fall enrollments – plus enjoy a visit from Santa!

The Little Gym of Rockwall specializes in unique educational classes that revolve around active play – from gymnastics to dance and sports skills. The curriculum features a variety of programs that build confidence by allowing children to experience success in a fun and nurturing environment.  In addition to physical skills such as coordination, balance, rhythm and flexibility, children’s listening, social and emotional capacities are all enhanced in the process.

Holiday in the Park

Save the date for Santa! He’s coming to the City of Heath’s Annual Holiday in the Park hosted in Towne Center Park on December 1, 5:30-8:30 p.m.

All the sights and sounds of the season await Santa including the Christmas Tree lighting, music and complimentary hot cocoa, coffee and cookies. There will also be food trucks, children’s activities and miniature train rides.

Santa Cops 4 Kids 5K, 10K and 1-mile Fun Run

Rockwall Ford and the Rockwall Police Officer’s Association are proud to present the Inaugural Santa Cops 4 Kids 1 mile fun run, 5k, and 10k Race benefiting the Children’s Advocacy Center or Rockwall County on Saturday, December 10, 2016. Heath Holiday in the Park

Join the City of Heath for another spectacular Holiday in the Park, hosted in Towne Center Park on Friday, December 2 from 5:30-8:30 p.m.

  • Count down with the crowd as the City “flips the switch” on its beautiful Christmas Tree at 7 p.m. The program will feature the sweet sounds of the Amy Parks and Dorothy Pullen Elementary School Honor Choirs, plus the exciting tunes of the Rockwall-Heath High School Jazz Band.
  • Have dinner in the Winter Village, featuring food trucks, a cozy outdoor dining area warmed by holiday lights, rides on two miniature trains, activity booths for the kids including a Christmas craft presented by Arstream Mobile Art Studio, and a holiday photo booth, sponsored by Milestone Electric. Be sure to get there in time to hear the amazing Cain Middle School Orchestra serenade diners from 6:15 to 6:45 p.m.
  • Warm up with complimentary hot cocoa and coffee throughout the evening, while Mrs. Claus and her elves serve complimentary Christmas cookies, home baked and donated by the National Charity League and Rockwall Women’s League.
  • Tis’ the season to give, so Rockwall County Helping Hands’ elves will also be onsite to collect your new unwrapped toys or cash contributions for those kiddos who could use your cheer this year.
  • Treat yourself to a stop at the Heath Holiday Shoppe, where you can purchase the Second Edition 2016 Heath Christmas Ornament and Spirit Wear T-shirt.
  • Of course, the star of the evening is Santa. After his grand arrival during the Christmas Tree Lighting program, he will visit with each child in his vintage sleigh, nestled in a picture perfect scene. Be sure to bring the cameras and dress for the weather!
