(Lewisville) Texas Smooth Groove Tour will visit Lewisville Friday, Sept. 2, for an evening of elegance and smooth jazz at the Medical Center of Lewisville Grand Theater.
Featured performers are Tom Braxton, Fingerprints, and Mark Harper. The show will be hosted by Lynn Briggs, formerly of the Oasis.
The show will start at 7 p.m. in the Performance Hall of the MCL Grand, 100 N. Charles St. Tickets are $25 general admission and $20 for college students with current school ID. A special VIP package is available for $40 and includes preferred parking and seating, backstage passes to meet the performers, a gift bag, and a CD of the artists. All tickets can be purchased through tix.com.
Medical Center of Lewisville Grand Theater opened last January. The 40,000-square-foot facility features a 296-seat proscenium theater, black box theater, dance recital hall, art gallery, five art classrooms and a large courtyard. Medical Center of Lewisville reached a multi-year agreement with the city last year for naming rights at the center.
To reach the MCL Grand from Interstate 35E, take exit 452 and proceed east on Main Street to Charles Street. The MCL Grand will be on the left. Free public parking is available along Main and Church streets, or at Lewisville City Hall across Church Street from the center. Parking is not permitted in the grass lot across Church Street from MCL Grand.
