The Dallas-Fort Worth American Marketing Association will host the Fort Worth Executive Luncheon from 11:15 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 29 at Reata Restaurant, 310 Houston St. in Fort Worth.
David DuBois, President and CEO of the Fort Worth Convention and Visitors Bureau, will discuss the role of the Fort Worth CVB in the marketing of Fort Worth – with its $1.3 billion economic impact to the city and its employment of more than 12,000 citizens with earnings of over $345 million.
DuBois has more than 33 years of executive management experience in the hospitality and meetings industries. He joined the Fort Worth CVB in January 2007. He previously served as executive vice president for the Meeting Professionals International Foundation, and before that as president and CEO of Professional Convention Management Association. A graduate of The School of Hotel Administration at Michigan State University, DuBois worked in sales and marketing at various Sheraton and Ritz-Carlton hotels between 1978 and 1990.
