At 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 1, Covington’s offers tips on fall pruning and the best trees for North Texas. This free class lets you know how to plant and take care of new trees; and how, what and when to prune during the fall season.
Learn to make dazzling flower displays with pansies and other popular cool-season plants for fabulous landscape color from fall until spring. Also, previous fabulous new pansy colors and mixes. This free class will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 8.
Planting with Texas tough perennials
Lear about the rewards of planting with native and perennial plants and take home a guide describing the best ones for North Texas. This free class will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 22 at Covington’s.
Fall bulbs for Spring blooms
Bud Hervey from Van Bloem Gardens will discuss planting fall bulbs in southern landscapes at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 29 at Covington’s. And the event is free!

Learn to create spectacular color bowls with great plant combinations to beautify your porch/patio with great fall and winter color, or to give as holiday gifts. Children are welcome with an adult.
