(Sachse) The Sachse Chamber of Commerce will host the 26th annual Sachse Fallfest from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 8 at Heritage Park, 4408 Hudson Parkway in Sachse.
More than 100 arts and crafts and business vendors will take part in this year’s Fallfest, sponsored by Farmers Electric Cooperative. Admission is free.
Festival-goers can get their fill of fabulous fair food, like brisket sandwiches, sausage-on-a-stick, turkey legs, funnel cakes, snow cones, kettle corn, and pizza. There will be facepainting, games, bounce houses, live entertainment on two stages, raffles – even a Best Men’s Legs Contest and a Pet Photo Contest.
Pet pictures may be submitted in advance at sachsechamber.com or they may be taken at the Pet Photo Booth before 1 p.m. on Saturday, with a $5 contest entry fee.
Men’s Best Legs contestants will be scouted the day of the event. The winner will receive the coveted chicken leg trophy.
