(Plano) For the fourth consecutive year, the Plano Convention & Visitors Bureau has been named the Best Destination Marketing Organization by Texas Meetings + Events magazine.
The award was presented during a recent reception hosted by the magazine at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center in San Antonio. Accepting the award was Mark Thompson, director of the Plano CVB.
The Readers’ Choice Best Of Award winners are voted on by the meeting planners, event planners and suppliers who read Texas Meetings + Events magazine. The Best Of Awards are designed to honor those who excel in the regional meetings and events industry for superb service to suppliers who help planners meet and exceed the needs of their clients.
For the second consecutive year, Plano Centre received special recognition as a finalist for Best Meeting & Events Venue in the region.
