Children, teens to make Holiday Cards for Heroes

(Garland) The Walnut Creek Branch Library, 3310 Edgewood Drive, will host a day of holiday card making for children and teens on Friday, Nov. 11.  

While supplies last, children may drop in and color a pre-designed card, which will be sent to the American Red Cross for delivery to active military personnnel or veterans. Participants will receive a small prize.
