Distinguised Alumni Award to be presented to Patti Clapp, Class of 1983
Join the Dallas Regional Chamber for the Annual Leadership Luncheon, the signature event of the Leadership Dallas Alumni Association, from 11:30 to 1:3o p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 6 at The Adolphus Hotel, 1321 Commerce St. in Dallas.
The event, sponsored by Mary Kay and ONCOR, will highlight 35 years of Leadership Dallas. Patti Clapp, Class of 1983, will be recognized as the recipient of the Distinguished Alumni Award for her positive influence in the community.
Garrett Boone, the Chairman Emeritus and one of the founders of The Container Store, will be the guest speaker. The Container Store has 48 stores and projected sales of $500 million. The Container Store has been selected by FORTUNE Magazine as the “Best Company to Work For” for the past 11 years. Boone is a member of the Retailing Hall of Fame, along with Kip Tindell, Chairman and CEO of The Container Store, and Sharon Tindell, Chief Merchandising Officer.
As a special initiative for Leadership Dallas’ 35th Anniversary, the Chamber will recognize alumni who personify the mission and spirit of Leadership Dallas. “LDA Heroes” embody the vision of Leadership Dallas and are committed to serve as catalysts and sustainers of positive change for the quality of life in the Greater Dallas area.
