In-Sync hosts ‘Christmas with the Cats’ night tours

(Wylie) In-Sync Exotics Wildlife Rescue and Education Center invites everyone to experience the season in a unique and festive way. Now through Friday, Dec. 23, visitors can experience “Christmas with the Cats” during the sanctuary’s extended hours.

“Watching lions, tigers, cheetahs, and other big cats is always a special treat, but now you can also watch the twinkling lights adorning each of the cats’ enclosures as you sip cider and hot cocoa,” said In-Sync owner, Vicky Keahey.

The sanctuary will be lit up on Fridays from 5 to 7:30 p.m.; on Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.; and for VIP tours on Sundays from 5:45 to 7:30 p.m.

VIP tours are by reservation only and include a guided tour and the opportunity to watch the cats get fed their Sunday bones – a special “appetizer” before dinner. The cost is $35 per person, with a maximum of 10 people per tour.

In-Sync Exotics, located at 3430 Skyview Drive in Wylie, is currently home to 59 exotic cats and one coatimundi. This includes two cheetahs, three exceptionally rare white lions, three white tigers and a tiger cub. The 501(c)3 organization is dedicated to the rescue and care of abused, neglected, or unwanted exotic cats.
