Lake Highlands Community Active Aging Brown Bag Series Caretakers Hour
“Standing on Togetherness” will be the theme at the next Lake Highlands Community Active Brown Bag Series Caretakers Hour, set for 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 2 at the Audelia Road Library, 10045 Audelia Road in Dallas.
Join them for an hour of discussion and fellowship for those who care for children, parents, grandchildren, spouses, or friends. The Wellness Book of the Month is “The Grace of Silence” by Michelle Norris.
The Active Aging Series is designed to give those who care for others a positive attitude toward aging and an opportunity to network and fellowship with other like-minded seniors.
The series continues the first Thursday of every month (unless otherwise noted).
RSVP by Tuesday, Jan. 31 for the Feb. 2 meeting, by emailing Jancandoit@hotmail.com or calling the library at 214-670-1350. If less than five RSVP, the program will be rescheduled and the those who signed up will be notified.
