The Youth Group at First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) will host a Pizza and Praise Concert featuring the Heritage Christian Academy Praise Team.
The event will be 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 12 at FCC, 3375 Ridge Road in Rockwall.
Pizza and soft drinks will be provided. Scotty Smith, Minister to Young Adults, will deliver a special message during the band’s intermission.
A $2 donation is suggested to help offset food costs.
The HCA Praise Team leads praise and worship weekly at the school’s Chapel services, as well as other school and community events.
Student musicians also play and sing with groups at Lake Pointe Church, Sabine Creek Fellowship, and Lakeshore Church. They feature musicians from the popular Rockwall band, The Neckties. They play a wide variety of contemporary Christian hits, as well as several original Praise and Worship compositions. The group is produced by HCA student Charley Wiles.
