Proud parents Shanitra Barton and Corey Blackshear of Garland hold newborn Corey Bryland Blackshear after the baby’s birth at 8:13 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2012 at Lake Pointe Medical Center in Rowlett. This is the couple’s third child – and the first to be born at Lake Pointe in the New Year.
Baby Corey was born weighing 7 pounds, 9 ounces and measuring 20 inches long.
Presenting a basket of goodies to the family on behalf of the Lake Pointe Health Network are Sharon Groves, RN, Director of the NICU at Lake Pointe Health Network; and Debbie Moeller, RN, Chief Nursing Officer at Lake Pointe Health Network.
Congratulations, Shanitra and Corey! This is their third child.
