Did you know that Rockwall County has 17 historical markers, one property listed on the National Register of Historic Places, and one historic courthouse listing?
The Rockwall County Historical Foundation will present, “Memories and Markers: A Look at Rockwall’s Historic People and Places” at noon Friday, Feb. 10 at the Historic Courthouse.
The program is free and open to the public, and will present an overview of all the markers—some for people, some for places—their locations and their historical significance. A handout will be provided that will give all the information needed for further Historical Marker exploration.
