Men’s conference to feature former Cowboy Chad Hennings

(Royse City) Sabine Creek Ranch will welcome former Dallas Cowboy Chad Hennings at “The Man of Character” Men’s Conference, happening this weekend, Friday, Jan. 20 and Saturday, Jan. 21.

“Chad has a storehouse of great stories from his days as a fighter pilot in the Gulf War, and his eventual return to football as part of the Superbowl champion Dallas Cowboys,” said Eddie Walker, founder of Sabine Creek Ranch.

Located 30 minutes east of downtown Dallas at 576 Sabine Creek Road in Royse City, Sabine Creek Ranch is a working cattle ranch and equestrian center, with meeting space, chef-prepared meals and lodging for retreats, conferences, and banquets. It is also home to Sabine Creek Fellowship.

The men’s conference will include time to relax, eat, fellowship and enjoy a bonfire while taking advantage of motivational and informative sessions that will recharge spiritual batteries. Teenage boys are encouraged to attend with a family member.

The cost is $85 and includes admission to the conference, three meals, and overnight lodging (if desired). Other activities include a Spades tournament, 42, fishing on stocked ponds (bring your own pole) and other optional outdoor activities.

Registration and check-in is from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Friday, Jan. 20.
