‘Guys and Dolls’ to hit the stage at Wylie High

Wylie High School Theatre will present the musical comedy Guys and Dolls Thursday, Feb. 2 through Saturday, Feb. 4 in the WHS auditorium.

Guys and Dolls premiered on Broadway in 1950 and ran for 1,200 performances, earning a Tony Award for Best Musical. It  features timeless classics like “Luck Be a Lady,” “Sit Down, You’re Rockin’ the Boat” and “If I Were a Bell.”

This comedy has had countless revivals including Broadway, London’s West End, a movie starring Marlon Brando and Frank Sinatra, and thousands of high schools and colleges around the world.

Showtimes are 7:30 p.m. Thursday through Saturday, with an additional show at 2 p.m. Saturday. Tickets are $12 for adults, $8 for students high-school age and younger, and may be reserved in advance at wylietheater.org.
