(Frisco) Feb. 14, 2012 – Arts in the Square organizers are seeking volunteers for the 3rd annual arts festival in Frisco Square, March 31 and April 1, 2012.

Volunteers are needed to support this event in many ways. Interested adults and students age 16 or older, who enjoy serving the Frisco community and the arts, are invited to visit the website and register as an Adult Ambassador application or the Student Ambassador application before March 15, 2012. Arts in the Square can only welcome registered volunteers at this event. Visit http://friscosquare.com/AITS and select the registration link or write to with any questions.

Frisco Square transforms into an outdoor fine art gallery the last weekend in March with free admission and parking – open to the public.  Arts in the Square is 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, March 31 and Sunday, April 1.

Arts in the Square is a juried Fine Arts festival featuring the best national and regional artists who sell their original creations. The 3rd annual Arts in the Square is co-presented and hosted by Frisco Square Development and Frisco Arts, the Official Art Agency of Frisco, that is designated to enrich the Frisco community by supporting the awareness, presence and practice of the visual, musical, and performing arts. About 15,000 visitors are anticipated to attend the festival. In addition to providing the community with a high-quality cultural event, the festival brings a great Fine Arts experience to the Frisco community.
