(Rockwall) The Rockwall County Master Gardener Association recently inducted their 2012 officers: Linsley Srygley, President; Julie Simpson, Vice President; Janie Squier, Secretary; Larry Parks, Treasurer, and Richard Longworth, Past President.
The Rockwall County Master Gardener Association is coordinated by Texas AgriLife Extension Service with the support of the Rockwall County Commissioners Court under the direction of County Extension Agent Todd Williams.
This group of trained volunteer educators is dedicated to expanding horticultural knowledge in Rockwall County through outreach, teaching, and demonstration events.
The 9th Annual Tour of Gardens, the premier educational event of the Rockwall County Master Gardener Association, is scheduled for May 19, 2012. Tickets go on sale April 1.
