The Rockwall County Library’s Reading for Adults volunteer tutors have helped Elsy Villatoro and Vitoria Mitchell become U.S. citizens by tutoring them in the library’s Citizenship preparation class.
Elsy Villatoro is originally from El Salvador. She moved to the U.S. in 2006 and has been taking ESL and Citizenship classes through the Reading for Adults program at the Rockwall County Library.
Vitoria Mitchell is originally from Brazil and has also been living in the U.S. since 2006. She also has been enrolled in ESL and Citizenship preparation classes.
Both women are continuing to study in the library’s ESL classes so that they can becomemore fluent in their English. The Rockwall County Library is very proud of their accomplishments.
