Rockwall County Library will hold volunteer tutor training on Saturday, March 24 for all interested adults who want to tutor GED or ESL in the Reading for Adults program.
The GED training will be from 9 a.m. to noon.
The ESL training will be from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.; bring a sack lunch.
Training will be held in the community room of the Rockwall County Library, 1215 E. Yellow jacket Lane.
You do not need to know another language. You do not need to be a teacher, though that is helpful.
Classes are held each morning from 10 a.m. to noon. You can work once or twice a week in this schedule.
Tuesday and Thursday evening classes are held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. for ESL and 6 to 8 p.m. for GED classes. You can work once or twice a week in this program.
