Women’s League to host ‘Waltz Across Texas’ charity ball

(Rockwall) Rockwall Women’s League will host its annual charity ball, “Waltz Across Texas,” from 6:30 to 11:30 p.m. Saturday, March 31 at Black Star Farm, located between Highway 205 and Horizon Road on Highway 549 in Rockwall.

The event will include a Texas-sized feast by Eddie Deen, boot scootin’ music by the Breckenridge Band and Jolie Holliday and Friends, and a sports bar to enjoy after shopping the silent auction.

Catch the Final Four of March Madness on two big screens in the sports bar. Enjoy a hand-rolled Cuban by the Cigar Roller, nibble on sweet treats at the Candy Bar, and burn off those extra calories at the Roper – an indoor calf roping game.

Funds raised from the Waltz Across Texas ball are disbursed in Rockwall County through community agency grants and scholarships for graduating seniors from our three public high schools. The public is invited to attend this Texas celebraion and there are additional sponsorship opportunities available.
