Cullins Lake Pointe students participate in Sons of American Revolution poster contest

(Rockwall ISD) Fifth grade students at Doris Cullins Lake Pointe Elementary School recently participated in the Sons of The American Revolution poster contest.  This year’s topic was the Battle of Guilford Courthouse.

Sam Wigley won first place for his art work and his poster went on to the state competition. Sam was awarded $100, a certificate, and was honored at their March chapter meeting.

Delilah Mireles won best research and was awarded $50, a certificate and was recognized at a fifth grade assembly by John Morton, the poster contest chairman for the Dallas chapter of SAR.
