Williams MS students honored at annual awards ceremony

(Rockwall ISD) May 11, 2012 – J.W.Williams Middle School hosted its annual Awards Ceremonies on Thursday, May 10, 2012.

The Daughters of the American Revolution honored Catherine Ghormley.

The Sons of the American Revolution honored Eric Wimpee for their outstanding character and citizenship.

The Fighting Wildcat Awards honoring student athletes that competed in three different sports at the highest level went to 7^th graders A.J. Blacknall and Haley Hicks, and 8^thgraders Dani Greenlee and Ian Bentley.

The Cameron Echols “Heart Award” is given to the 7^th and 8^th grade female athletes who displayed dedication and desire to work hard in both their sports and the classroom.  Honored athletes were Marissa Roof (7^th) and Holly Adams (8^th).

Outstanding 8^th graders that were nominated by their teachers went to Catherine Ghormley and Bel Martinez.
