Williams MS students honored at annual awards ceremony

Principal Billy Pringle presents Bel Martinez and Catherine Ghormley the Outstanding 8th Grader award.

(Rockwall ISD) May 11, 2012 – J.W.Williams Middle School hosted its annual Awards Ceremonies on Thursday, May 10, 2012.

The Daughters of the American Revolution honored Catherine Ghormley.

The Sons of the American Revolution honored Eric Wimpee for their outstanding character and citizenship.

The Fighting Wildcat Awards honoring student athletes that competed in three different sports at the highest level went to 7th graders A.J. Blacknall and Haley Hicks, and 8thgraders Dani Greenlee and Ian Bentley.

The Cameron Echols “Heart Award” is given to the 7th and 8th grade female athletes who displayed dedication and desire to work hard in both their sports and the classroom.  Honored athletes were Marissa Roof (7th) and Holly Adams (8th).
