(Fort Worth) June 26, 2012 – The 2012 “Stars under the Stars” outdoor movie series in Sundance Square will conclude Thursday, June 28, with the showing of “Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol,” starring Tom Cruise, Jeremy Renner and Simon Pegg. The 2011 action-packed film is the fourth installment of the Mission Impossible series.

Showtime is at dusk (around 9 p.m.) on the Gateway Parking Lot (bordered by 4th Street, Houston Street, 5th Street and Throckmorton Street) in downtown Fort Worth. Admission is free. Moviegoers can arrive as early as 8 p.m. Everyone is encouraged to bring blankets or chairs for seating on the lot. Folding chairs will also be available for a $2 rental fee.

You can buy “to-go” food items from Sundance Square restaurants and bring them onto the lot, but no ‘outside’ food, drinks or coolers are allowed. Oliver’s Fine Foods (right across the street) is staying open late for food and drink purchases (including beer and wine) that can be brought onto the lot. Schakolad Chocolate Factory will be on site with chocolate goodies and popcorn for purchase.

Please leave all pets in the comfort and safety of your home due to the large crowds, heat, and abrupt and loud movie noises. Parking is always free weekdays after 5 p.m. in Sundance Square parking lots and garages.

Sundance Square is a vibrant 35-block commercial, residential, entertainment and retail district where people work, live, shop and dine among beautiful landscaping, red-brick streets and turn-of-the-century buildings.
