(Rockwall) July 31, 2012 – First United Methodist Church of Rockwall, 1200 E. Yellow Jacket Lane, will host its annual summer “old fashioned gospel” Chautauqua Sunday afternoon, August 12, at 4 p.m.
The Erwins, a renowned young family Southern gospel quartet from Edgewood, TX will sing. The three brothers and one sister appear at national gospel conventions and in 2011 won “Best of the Week” in Louisville, Ky.
The public is invited. No advance tickets are required; a love offering will be taken. The Erwins will also have CDs for sale.
The program in the sanctuary will be followed by an ice cream social.
