(Rockwall) July 16, 2012 – Biddie Hampton, long time Rockwall community volunteer, along with her husband, Dan, will be moving to Colorado at the end of the month, so in order for some friends to have a send-off breakfast before she packs up the last box, a plan (for a cause) was made.
The group gathered at Applebee’s for the American Cancer Society Relay for Life pancake breakfast.
Guests were asked to bring a donation for the Relay and a card for Biddie to be placed in a scrapbook she could easily pack for her new home. A win-win for everybody and a very generous gesture from Biddie for the Rockwall 2012 Relay for Life.
Some of the guests included: kneeling in center ~ Leigh Plagens Relay greeter for the morning; seated (L-R) ~ Kathy Melston, honoree Biddie Hampton, Joyce Musser, Darlene Bealmear, Judy Minth; standing ~ Toby Bailey, Betty Moon, Marcia Gilbert, Billye Wood, Judy Hanna, Judy Koerth, Judy Dickson, Claudette Johnson.
