(Rockwall) September 17, 2012 – Rockwall County 4-H will host a kick-off event from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Monday, September 24 at the County Extension Office, 915 Whitmore, Suite B, in Rockwall, showcasing 4-H Clubs for those interested in learning more.
The program will cover:
- Dog Obedience
- Fashion & Sewing
- Food & Nutrition
- Horses
- Livestock Projects
- Photography
- Shooting Sports
- Veterinary Science
All Rockwall County 4-H clubs will have displays and representatives to provide information and answer questions.
Clubs meet monthly with project groups meeting throughout the month.
4-H is one of the largest youth organizations in the nation offering young people the opportunity to build self-esteem, build friendships, and prepare for future. 4-H is for youth 8 years old and in 3rd grade through high school graduation.
