(Rockwall) September 10, 2012 – The Rockwall City Council received 33 applications from residents that are interested in the council position held by Mark Russo.
Russo submitted his resignation effective September 18 to prepare for his new position as Rockwall County Justice of the Peace.
The council will conduct interviews the week of September 10 at City Hall. The new appointee will serve until the May 2013 municipal election, which is prescribed by the City Charter.
