Trinity Christian senior recognized by Nat’l Hispanic program for achieving one of the highest PSAT scores in the country

(Dallas) September 19, 2012 – Dallas resident Brandon Galvan, current senior at Trinity Christian Academy, has been recognized by the National Hispanic Recognition Program as an Hispanic/Latino student with one of the highest PSAT scores in the country.

Brandon’s PSAT score placed him in the top 2% of all Hispanic/Latino students and qualified him for this award.

Similar to National Merit, College Board’s National Hispanic Recognition Program was initiated in 1983 to identify outstanding Hispanic/Latino high school students and help connect them with interested colleges and universities.

Every year, NHRP honors nearly 5,000 of the highest-scoring Hispanic/Latino high school students from the U.S., Puerto Rico, Virgin Islands, Guam, the Mariana Islands and the Marshall Islands out of the approximately 235,000 Hispanic/Latino Juniors who take the PSAT.
