(Royse City) October 5, 2012 – The Royse City Chamber of Commerce will present its 23 annual Funfest beginning Saturday, October 20 in downtown Royse City.


7 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. ~ Annual Boy Scout Pancake Breakfast at First United Methodist Church

8 a.m. ~ Stick Robinson Memorial Fun Run

8 a.m. to noon ~  Carter Blood Care Blood Drive, Post Office parking lot

9 a.m. to noon ~ E-Recycler Truck & Mobile Shred It Truck

9:30 a.m. ~ Opening Ceremonies on the Main Stage

10 a.m. to 4 p.m. ~ Games, Vendors, Funfest Lane, Entertainment at Arch Street, Main Street; Pet Adoptions, Corner of Arch & Main; Stuff the Food Pantry Truck Competition (bring something to donate), Funfest Lane.

10 a.m. to 7 p.m. ~ Carnival Rides, Arch & Church Street

11:30 a.m. ~ Truck Pull, Behind Main Stage on S. Arch

Noon ~ Pie Eating Contest, Main Stage

Noon to 4 p.m. ~ Games, Crafts, Face Painting for Preschoolers, Royse City Library

12:30 p.m. ~ Hula Hoop Contest, Main Stage

1 p.m. ~ Erica Schwerin, Arabian Dance, Main Stage

1:30 p.m. ~ The Arts Martial Demonstration, Main Stage

1:45 p.m. ~ Doggie Contest, Main Stage

2 p.m. ~ Ghostly Interactions – Hear and See the Unbelievable, Royse City Library

2:30 to 3:30 p.m. ~ Children’s Pageant (MUST REGISTER IN ADVANCE), Main Stage

3:45 p.m. ~ Raffle Winners Announced

4 to 8 p.m. ~ Annual Girl Scout Spaghetti Dinner, First United Methodist Church
