Madrigal Dinner Show Oct 26 at Williams Middle School

(Rockwall ISD) October 1, 2012 – Williams Middle School students will present a Madrigal Dinner Show from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, October 26 on the WMS Stage and cafeteria.

“A Fool for your Love” is written by Jim and Jane Jeffries, directed by Dawn Andrews. The Jester starts off the dinner by incorporating a dinner guest into his new act – egg juggling. The King ends up with an egg in the face, and the Jester scrambles on out of the kingdom. His replacement, a female Jester, puts a new perspective on humor, though the King could live without her social commentary. Lady Abigail is betrothed, against her will, to Lord Boris, who takes a fancy to this new Jestress. Meanwhile, the jester sneaks back to court and  and enlists the Town Crier’s help in getting how job back. Dresses as the Jestress to take her place, he is mistakenly wooed by Lord Boris. The Jester teaches Lord Boris how to treat a lady – sorta. This mixed-up comedy about fools in love is a favorite Madrigal script.

Admission is $10 for children and students (dinner and performance); $2 (performance ONLY – without dinner). Adults are $12 (dinner and performance) or $3 (performance ONLY – without dinner). Reserved tickets are limited to 100 for dinners.
