(Rockwall ISD) October 21, 2012 – Two time Olympic gold medalist Neil Walker spent time with students from Nebbie Williams Elementary School, during Rockwall ISD’s annual Second Grade Water Safety Program at the RISD Aquatic Center.
Second grade teacher, Kathleen Elam, raced Neil and with a small head start was able to squeak out the victory and in turn wore Walker’s Athens’ Olympic Gold Medal while having her picture taken with students Ella Turner, Cadance Smith, Amelia McDaniel, Maci Mafo, Daxton Hazlewood, Tony Favrot and Evonne Hudgens.
