Rockwall High members of All Region Jazz Ensemble to perform Nov 17

All Region Jazz 2012-1 — Rockwall High School Jazz Band members Evan Cedor, Jonathan Hobb, Kaan Toy, and Noahie Valk. Each were selected to record auditions in competition for membership in the Texas All State Jazz Band which will perform at the Texas Music Educators Association Convention and Clinic in San Antonio in February.

Ten students from the Rockwall High School Orange Wave Band attended the Region 3 Jazz auditions on September 19 and three were selected as members of the All Region Jazz Ensemble: junior Evan Cedor on jazz guitar, junior Kaan Toy on jazz bass, and senior Jonathan Hobbs on drum set.

The all-star group from all across the region will perform at 7 p.m. November 17 at the Rockwall High School Performing Arts Center on the campus of Utley Middle school.

The event is free and open to the public.
