(November 18, 2012) For the seventh year, members of First Christian Church Rockwall will present their gift to the community by reenacting the Christmas Nativity story for the public.
On Sunday, December 16, a costumed cast of all ages will perform every 20 – 30 minutes between 6 and 8 p.m., followed by a group caroling session led by the church choir.
Children will also be given a chance to pet live animals that are part of the presentation, including sheep, a donkey, and llamas.
The event is a cherished holiday tradition at FCC Rockwall, offering the community a free, family-friendly activity and a creative reminder of the reason for the season.
“We also are continuing a tradition of inviting the public inside the church for cookies and hot chocolate and to view a collection of nativity scenes,” said FCC pastor Mark Irons.
First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) Rockwall is located at 3375 Ridge Road, 1.4 miles south of Interstate 30, across from Chandlers Landing. Enter from White Road and follow the signs to parking areas.
