(Rockwall – November 12, 2012) Get ready to officially start the Christmas season in our hometown with an old-fashioned celebration at Rockwall City Hall with the Annual Christmas Tree Lighting beginning at 7 p.m. Thursday, November 29 – a Christmas tradition now marking its 29th year.
Festivities will include holiday music, craft making in Santa’s workshop for the kids, cookies-hot chocolate-coffee for all and a visit with Jolly Ole St. Nick for the young and young-at-heart.
The Kiwanis Christmas Parade will begin at 9 a.m. Saturday, December 1.
