(Rockwall – December 1, 2012) Bring the whole family out to the Rockwall Harbor Holiday Fest on the shores of Lake Ray Hubbard located in Rockwall, TX this Saturday, December 1. Experience the Harbor tree lighting, free trackless choo-choo train rides, free ice cream, photos with Santa, Christmas crafts and children’s activities, and plenty of holiday shopping opportunities.
The Harbor Holiday Fest will run from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and includes live entertainment by Dakota Ritter (at noon); performers from The Music Shop at Rockwall (4-6 p.m.); and a visit from Jack Frost (4-6 p.m.)
There will also be holiday story time readings at Luna de Noche with Rockwall Mayor David Sweet, City Councilmember Michelle Smith, and Whitney Rosenbalm of the Rockwall Community Playhouse.
As a special free treat, Dodie’s Cajun Diner will give ice cream to the first 100 children (under age 12) that stop into the restaurant during the festival with their parents and ask. While there, select a tag from the Angel Tree and help a local child in need through the Rockwall County Helping Hands Christmas Toy Drive.
