Old Fashioned Christmas Celebration

The Rockwall County Library’s December Family Night will be “An Old Fashioned Christmas Celebration.” Visit with Santa and enjoy crafts and refreshments during this come-and-go event from 6 to 7:45 p.m. Thursday, December 13.

For an extra special treat, S & D Puppetry will be presenting The Nutcracker in a Nutshell at 6:30 p.m. and again at 7:15 p.m. This puppet show presents the classic story with colorful puppets and selections from the beautiful music of Tchaikovsky.

Parents: Bring your cameras for pictures of the kids with St. Nicholas.

The Rockwall County Library is a Drop-Off Location for the following local charities this holiday season:

Helping Hands Food Pantry (collection bin for non-perishable items)

Helping Hands Toy Drive (collection bin for new unwrapped toys)

Angel Tree (with ornament tags for local children in need)

Patriot Paws (list of items needed for dogs being trained to help disabled veterans available)

The Adoption Center of the Rockwall Animal Shelter (list of items needed
available)

Holiday Closing

The Rockwall County Library will be closed Monday and Tuesday, December 24 and 25 for the Christmas holidays.
