Big, bad wolf found NOT GUILTY in Pullen Elementary ‘courtroom’

Justice of Peace Jack James poses with characters from the story: Jackson Latimer, Addison Taylor, Jay Abbott, Austin Smart, Jacob Rogers and Jack Makohon.

(ROCKWALL ISD-January 5, 2013) Pullen Elementary first graders recently turned their classroom into a courtroom.

Visiting Rockwall County Justice of the Peace Jack James was the presiding judge over the case of the Big Bad Wolf and the Three Little Pigs. Was the wolf truly guilty?

The students, acting as the jury, listened carefully to the arguments as they learned about what it means to be a good citizen.  Judge James’ visit gave the students a taste of what some of Rockwall’s public officials do in our community.  The “jury’s” verdict was that the three little pigs were to blame.
