Habitat home takes shape in Rockwall

(ROCKWALL-February 11, 2013) Rockwall Area Habitat for Humanity is off and running on its next house that will go to the Villalobos family.

Even with the cold weather, 15 volunteers braved the chilly temperatures and were able to complete 2.5 framing sides for the house.

Angel Lopez with Sonic was gracious enough to donate lunch for all the Habitat volunteers.

The Rockwall Fire Station on Rockwall Parkway brought ice for everyone.

If you are interested in helping with the build, visit Rockwallhabitat.org for more information.

Rockwall Area Habitat for Humanity is a Christian Housing ministry dedicated to building homes for families who might not otherwise afford one. They leverage private donations and volunteer labor, sell the homes at cost and provide zero interest to qualified families.
