(ROCKWALL ISD-February 8, 2013) Virginia Reinhardt Elementary girls who won their school Penny-Votes on their awesome Gingerbread house, decided to give all the Penny-Vote earnings to Patriot Paws.
Patriot Paws is a Rockwall-based nonprofit organization that trains and provides service dogs at no charge to disabled American veterans and other with mobile disabilities in order to help restore their physical and emotional independence.
Shown here are the students (from left) Laleh Taji, Shelby Roether, and Katherine Doss presenting the $30 to Patriot Paws. If you look closely, a Patriot Paws puppy is immediately taking a “bite” out of the donation!!!
