Rockwall County Helping Hands welcomes new Practice Manager

(ROCKWALL-February 13, 2013) Helping Hands is pleased to announce the appointment of Vanhdy Miller as Practice Manager to The Health Center of Helping Hands.

Bringing her experience from the corporate sector, Miller was part of the commercial banking sales team of JPMorgan Chase & Company specializing in Cash Management services.  She completed the Practice Management Certification Program at Richland College and attended University of Texas at Dallas for Business Administration with Finance Concentration.

Vanhdy will be a strong asset to the agency as Helping Hands continues to grow in providing a medical home to the underserved.   The Health Center of Helping Hands provided healthcare to more than 6,500 individuals in 2012; 1,800+ of those individuals were new to the Health Center.   6,542 office visits were attended, nearly 800 lab tests were conducted, and more than 1,500 vaccines were administered in 2012.  The Helping Hands dental program served 56 county residents with more than $32,000 of emergency dental care.

Vanhdy said, “I am honored to be part of Rockwall County Helping Hands and proud of the excellent healthcare services provided to Rockwall County residents at the Health Center.”
