FAMILY NIGHT FOR VALENTINE’S

On Tuesday, February 12,  Share the love at the Rockwall County Library’s February Family Night and create Valentine’s Day crafts for  friends and families.

There will be projects for all ages so bring the whole family and join them for crafting, refreshments, and a short movie. Festivities start at 6:30 p.m.

TEST-DRIVES FOR eREADERS

Are you planning to buy an eReader that will download library ebooks? Do you have an eReader already (Nook, Kindle, etc.) that you would like to learn more about?

The Rockwall County Library will be hosting a Test Drive of a variety of eReader and audio book devices. They will have a Nook Tablet, Kindle Fire, a new iPad, and an iPod Touch, as well as other devices for you to try. They will be hosting Test Drives each month through August 2013.

If you would like to attend a one-session Test Drive, please call the library to signup: 972-204-7770. Meet on the second floor of the library in the Women’s League Room.

Test Drives for February: February 7, 6:30pm (Thursday), February 26, 6:30pm (Tuesday)

All eReader and Audio devices were provided by a grant from the Texas State Library and Archives Commission.

NEW NON-RESIDENT LIBRARY FEE

Beginning October 1, 2012, the Rockwall County Library began charging an annual library card fee of $30 per household for those not living in Rockwall County. An individual computer use only card will be available for $10 per year.
