Lone Star CASA to honor volunteers at April 13 banquet

(ROCKWALL-May 18, 2013) Lone Star CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) has announced the annual banquet to honor and recognize the CASA volunteers.

The banquet will be held on April 13 at the beautiful Shadow Ridge Farms located at 12198 Shadow Ridge Lane in Terrell.

A silent auction will begin at 5 p.m. and features quality items donated by local businesses and beautiful hand-made crafts.  Dinner is provided by Carmona’s Restaurant with entertainment by Captain Bud.  The dinner will begin at 6:30  followed by a program to recognize volunteers.  This is a Denim and Diamonds event so the dress code is casual.

Judges and District Attorneys will help honor the CASA volunteers that advocate in their courts for the best interests of children who come into the court system.  The testimonies of CASA volunteers are very valuable to the court decisions.  JUSTICE IS SERVED by the officers of the court greeting guests and helping serve dessert.

Lone Star CASA needs the support of our communities to provide financial support for our mission.   The MISSION of Lone Star CASA is to continue providing trained volunteers to advocate for the best interests of children who come into the court system as a result of abuse or neglect.   All proceeds from this event will support CASA’s MISSION.

Tickets and table sponsors are available.   Please call CASA headquarters at 972-772-5858 or Gay Becker at 214-543-1464 or visit lonestarcasa.org.
