Heath Salon and Spa stylist Ren Renfrow models Rockwall County Helping Hands Centsible Boutique dresses and accessories.

(ROCKWALL-April 25, 2013) It’s more than the classic “rags to riches” story. It’s about a local partnership that turns unused clothing into revitalized fashion and, a great new look.

And, it means a growing funding source for a beloved local charity, Rockwall’s Helping Hands with a major assist from Heath Salon and Spa.  It’s all on display at the annual “Razzle Dazzle” fashion show on May 3 at the Hilton Dallas Rockwall Lakefront.

“This year’s event will highlight some amazing clothes you can find every day in Helping Hands Centsible Boutique right here in Rockwall,” said Margo Nielsen, Executive Director of Helping Hands. “And, the look wouldn’t be complete without fabulous hair, makeup and nails by Heath Salon and Spa.”

Enjoy a Razzle Dazzle Fashion Show & Luncheon on Friday, May 3, presented by Centsible Thrift Stores & Boutique of Helping Hands at 11:30 a.m. at the Hilton at The Harbor. Shop Centsible Boutique from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tickets & info: rockwallhelpinghands.com.

At the same time the two organizations are bringing visibility to the Boutique’s trendy array of gently-used clothing, they will be focusing on the fashionable trend of charitable giving.  All proceeds from the event will go to Rockwall County Helping Hands, which has been the main social service provider for area residents for more than 30 years.

“We are strong supporters and partners of Rockwall County Helping Hands and are excited to contribute to such an important cause,” said Jauna French, principal owner of Heath Salon and Spa. “We have a team of professionals that are preparing to style and shape the looks of all the local models featured in the show to help sell more clothes.”

Jauna French and her salon team will be working enthusiastically behind the scenes as well as volunteering to display the refreshed new looks and styles on the catwalk. The local salon will also be donating goodie baskets packed full of gifts and samples from the salon.
