(ROCKWALL-April 23, 2013) Rockwall Police Department’s Community Services will participate in the DEA National (Prescription) Drug Take Back Initiative from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 27 at the Community Services office, 1113 Ridge Road in the Brookshire’s shopping center.
Residents can surrender potentially dangerous pharmaceutical controlled substances for destruction at this safe collection site that will be staffed by Special Agents from the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) and Rockwall police volunteers and officers.
This is an opportunity to get rid of expired, unwanted or unused over-the-counter or prescribed pharmaceutical medications.
