(ROCKWALL COUNTY-April 21, 2013) Community members are invited to join the Rockwall County Alliance for the Arts Board of Directors as they welcome Lisa E. Campbell, the RCAA’s newly hired Executive Director.
The “Spring Into the Arts” Reception is 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 23 at Art’s a Blast!, 2845 Ridge Rd, #D209 in Rockwall. Entertainment and a fine arts showcase, as well as appetizers and beverages, will be provided. The event is underwritten by PegHead Guitars.
“The vision of the Alliance is to unite arts, community and culture to enrich the lives of lakeside residents by supporting the arts,” said Dr. Kathleen Morrow, president of the board of directors for RCAA. “It was time for coordination and cooperation of all the various arts programs across the county, and we are delighted to have Lisa on board.”
Lisa has more than 20 years of experience in marketing, leadership and consulting in the nonprofit field. Early in her career, she helped develop media training and crisis communication courses for high-profile clients and corporate executives. Her business acumen led her to create an operations model of sales and marketing for nonprofits, which she launched inDallas. She parlayed that success into a career of training and consulting with nonprofits to strengthen their organizational structure, fundraising, board development, branding, communications and operations.
“We want the North Texasa rea to know, whether you are artist, admirer or audience member, you will find an enriching cultural arts environment here in the Rockwall area,” said Lisa.
