First place winner in Craziest Fan Contest gets Free Rangers tickets
(ROCKWALL ISD-May 22, 2013) The Rockwall High School Jacket Backers Booster Club is hosting Spring Swarm, the annual spring football game to introduce the 2013 Rockwall Yellowjacket Football team.
The game will be at Wilkerson-Sanders Memorial Stadium on Thursday, May 30. The JV game begins at 6 pm and the Varsity starts at 7. Admission is $2 or two canned goods with all admission proceeds going to Helping Hands of Rockwall County.
New Rockwall Head Coach Rodney Webb and the 2013 Yellowjackets are closing out their spring training session with an inter-squad scrimmage that will showcase next year’s Varsity and Junior Varsity teams.
“This is a great opportunity for our players to finish out a great 2013 spring football campaign,” said Coach Webb.
This year’s spring game is designed to be a community event and include pre-game food stands, a Crazy Fan Contest, Jacket Backers promotions, special guests and a 7 on 7 game between Utley and Williams Middle Schools at half-time of the varsity game.
Jacket Backers organizes and manages a variety of activities that support RHS student athletes and all sports sponsored by Rockwall High School.
