(ROCKWALL-May 3, 2013) The Rockwall Area Chamber of Commerce recently hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony for Rockwall County Newcomers & Friends, a women’s social organization whose mission is to welcome and provide social activities for new and long-time residents of Rockwall County.
Newcomers meets the second Thursday of the month for social time, a business meeting, an informative and entertaining program and lunch. Throughout the month members can chose to participate in a wide variety of activities such as book clubs, card games, bunco, art, day trips and many more. There is something for everyone. Special events are held throughout the year which can include spouses.
